1. What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage. These technologies differ: cookies can be cleared via your browser's cookie controls, whereas local storage is a separate browser store that is not cleared by "cookie" settings and must be cleared via site controls or by clearing site data.

Note on our preference items: bp_marketing_theme and bp_marketing_lang are stored in local storage (not cookies). We list them here for transparency, but managing them via browser "cookie" settings will not remove them — use your browser's "clear site data" option or change the preference on the site.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary / functional: required for core functionality such as security and remembering your theme and language preference.
  • Analytics / performance: help us understand usage so we can improve the site. Set only with consent where required.
  • Marketing / third-party: used for B2B measurement and audience insights (e.g., a professional-network insight tag). Set only with consent where required.

4. Third-party cookies

Some analytics and marketing items are set by third parties (e.g., Google, LinkedIn). Those providers act as independent controllers for the data they collect and have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not control third-party cookies beyond choosing whether to enable the provider and gating them behind consent where required.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. Questions? Contact info@billportal.io.
